Normal Rockwell is famous for his portrayals of nostalgic American life of ordinary people. He created this for The Saturday Evening Post but they turned it down, so it was published on the cover of Popular Science magazine October 1920.

- Going to a Science world, or a ferris wheel or other rides in a fairground.
- Stories of operating tools, appliances, or other machines.
